Bamdad Samimy

I began studying music at the age of five. After completing the Orff course, I continued learning guitar under the guidance of masters such as Dariush Khajeh-Nouri and Ali Pahlavan. I am a graduate of the Tehran Conservatory of Music, and during my studies I benefited from distinguished instructors including Vartan Sahakian (composition), Ms. Marina (music theory and solfège), Master Haikanoosh (vocal training), Master Salam Riyazi (jazz saxophone), Master Mzdkouri (violin), and several other professors.

I also pursued further studies abroad and completed an advanced jazz vocal program at the Jazz College of Armenia. From 2004 to 2008, I worked as a conductor, instrumentalist, and backing vocalist, collaborating with more than fifteen pop singers, including Mehdi Moghaddam, Farzad Farzin, Hamid Khandan, and other artists.

To date, I have performed in more than 100 concerts both inside and outside the country as a musician and vocalist. My other artistic activities include acting in the film Brick Boys as a musician and music director (featuring vocals by Farzad Farzin).

After completing my jazz vocal studies in Armenia, I am currently active as a music instructor, as well as working on the production and compilation of my own albums and singles.
